Dan started his career in the IT industry. Over the span of 15 years, he excelled in several positions - from an entrepreneur during the dot-com days of the 1990s, to the youngest Chief Technology Officer in Singapore at the tender age of 28 for a US-based consulting firm. His final stint in technology found him with Sun Microsystem, as a regional sales manager for Asia South. He left the IT industry in 2005 to pursue his personal passion - real estate investing, and eventually started RunningStream International in 2007.
In the decade that followed, Dan developed a proprietary methodology in real estate investing and put together a strong, passionate consulting team in RunningStream to assist investors across Asia with their global property portfolios. In addition, he has also played a key role in starting several subsidiaries, including Huon Property Group - an Australian based development firm, and Ficus Capital Management - a property development capital amalgamation service firm.
Despite his busy schedule, Dan continues to spend most of his time educating investors both onstage and offstage. He speaks in seminars and conferences and writes regularly for property investment publications. Other than weekends, when he faithfully spends his time with his wife and their four beloved children, he can often be found in our office cafe, enthusiastically sharing his wealth of experience with investors, both young and old.
